About Us

In loving memory of Johnny Falco.

Jersey Shore Memories is a passion project and a slightly stubborn obsession. Founded by our father, John Falco (1953-2022), this business is now proudly carried on by his son to ensure his passion and the memories he cherished continue to endure.

The entire mission’s purpose first became crystal clear in the winter of 2018. Immediately following the passing of Anthony "Duke" Falco, John's father, we were frustrated to find almost no records or photos of his former Asbury Park business, the Point Soda Shop. That realization—that tangible evidence of beloved local institutions could simply vanish—became the true engine of this mission.

As a very low-profit venture, we charge just enough to cover the cost of original artwork and the premium, quality materials we use. We’re happy to break even if it means preserving these essential pieces of local history.

The shirts are the artifact, and the drone videos are the art. Our goal is straightforward: preservation. Many pre-internet businesses left nothing behind but dust, and often, these shirt recreations are the only visual evidence a business ever existed. When you wear one of our designs, you’re literally wearing a piece of preserved local history.

We deeply love the Shore, which is why we’re constantly documenting its changing face. This entire content project—the filming, the editing, the music selection—is the passion outlet for our resident frustrated photographer, film director, and DJ.

It’s also, quite simply, the engine of the business: the pretty videos draw traffic to the website, which allows people to buy the shirts, which pays for the expensive equipment and research, which generates more content. It’s a wonderful, circular system where nostalgia funds technology.

Our Community Commitment

We operate with total transparency and respect for the community. We are not interested in profiting off the current hard work of others; we are only here to preserve the past.

-Defunct Businesses Only: We only recreate shirts for businesses that are provably defunct and permanently closed. We conduct rigorous research for every design.

-Respect for the Hustle: If a trademark or copyright exists, or if a related party is still selling the original apparel, we won't touch it. We respect every local small business owner who busted their ass for a better life at the Shore.

-Immediate Removal Guarantee: If, despite our research, any former or current business owner or related party has an issue with a design we are selling, please contact us. We will immediately and gladly remove the shirt from the website. No arguments.

-Collaboration Welcome: If you are a former or current owner and do want us to recreate and sell your apparel—with your authorization—we are always open to authorized collaborations to help carry on your legacy.

We hope you find a piece of the Shore here that truly means something to you.
