Angela's Beauty Salon, owned by Angela Lucia DeVito, sister of the famous actor Danny DeVito, was a well-known beauty salon in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Angela, a graduate of the Wilfred Academy, first opened her salon on Main Street before relocating to Sylvania Avenue in Neptune City. The salon quickly became a local favorite for its warm atmosphere and excellent service. Interestingly, Danny DeVito himself once worked there as a shampoo boy, adding a touch of Hollywood to the already beloved establishment.
Angela ran the salon for several years, creating a welcoming environment for her clients until she retired in 1980. Angela Lucia DeVito, born on March 16, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Asbury Park with her siblings Danny and Theresa. Her dedication to her craft and her clients made Angela's Beauty Salon a cherished part of the community, leaving behind fond memories for all who visited.
