The Mad Hatter, located at 10 East Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, was an iconic Jersey Shore bar and restaurant, well-known for its late-night atmosphere and thin-crust pizza. Sea Bright residents Scott and Amy Kelly purchased and began operating the establishment in 2006. Their tenure was cut short on October 29, 2012, when Superstorm Sandy caused catastrophic damage, rendering the building a total loss.
