Before there was a Royal Manor North up on Route 1, there was the Royal Manor down here in Monmouth County — a room off 35 that was running by the mid-seventies and drew the kind of bills that made kids drive in from three towns over. Stock went on to put his name on the North Brunswick room and the Birch Hill Club in Old Bridge, but this is the one the shore claims.

The building is gone and most people who pass that stretch of 35 have no idea it was ever there.

The sign is reproduced the way it would look on a shirt that had survived from the club's own run — both inks, the blue script and the red slab, cracked and sun-worn, with the white knocked out so the shirt itself becomes the board behind them.

Printed to order on a Gildan 64000 softstyle tee — 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²), quarter-turned so there is no crease down the center, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double stitching at the neckline and sleeves. Sport Grey is a 90/10 cotton-polyester blend and the heather colors are 65/35. The chest graphic runs 11 inches wide, set about two inches below the collar.
