The memory

Bamberger's was a Newark-born department store chain that spread across New Jersey for most of the twentieth century before Macy's took over the name in the mid-1980s. If you grew up shopping there, you probably remember the escalators before you remember much else.

This design brings back the store's own script, the lettering that used to run across the storefront and the shopping bags alike. For anyone who bought a first suit, or a first prom dress, under that name.

The blank is combed and ring-spun cotton, 4.2 oz/yd², which is light enough to wear in August without feeling like nothing at all. Pre-shrunk, so the fit you get is the fit you keep. Side seams and shoulder-to-shoulder taping hold the shape. Heather shades work a little polyester into the blend.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one shirt at a time, after you order it.

Printed to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your shirt is printed after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Expect a few days of production before it ships, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
