They sold out eventually and the place ran on as Astro Bowl until the spring of 1999. League nights, birthday parties, Friday nights that went long. Two Hall of Famers had their name over the door on Bloomfield Avenue, and most people driving past today have no idea.

The sign is reproduced the way it would look on a shirt that had been folded in a drawer since the lanes closed — green ink cracked and worn through, the pin and ball and the phone exchange exactly as they ran them.

Printed to order on a Gildan 64000 softstyle tee — 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²), quarter-turned so there is no crease down the center, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double stitching at the neckline and sleeves. Sport Grey and Ice Grey are a 90/10 cotton-polyester blend. The chest graphic runs 11 inches wide, set about two inches below the collar.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one shirt at a time, after you order it.
