The memory

Gillian's Wonderland Pier opened in 1929 at East 6th Street and the Boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey, founded by David Gillian and run by the Gillian family for the next 95 years. Its landmark was the Giant Wheel, a 144-foot Ferris wheel and one of the tallest on the East Coast, alongside a hand-carved carousel built in 1926 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and roughly 35 rides across the pier's indoor and outdoor sections. Owner Jay Gillian, also Ocean City's mayor, closed the pier for good on October 12, 2024, citing rising costs, storm damage, and financial strain following an $8 million loan default in 2021. This hoodie carries a vintage, distressed print of the pier's Ferris-wheel logo.

Fabric: Cotton

This hoodie is 50% pre-shrunk cotton and 50% polyester at 8.0 oz/yd² (Heather Sport Dark Navy runs 40/60 the other way), spun with air-jet yarn for a softer feel and less pilling. It's got a double-lined hood with a matching drawstring, a front pouch pocket, and 1×1 rib-knit cuffs that hold their shape.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Shipping and returns

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your hoodie is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
