The memory

Mom's Kitchen was a beloved Italian restaurant located in Neptune, NJ, owned by the Aldarelli family. Established in 1945 by Giovanni and Maria Aldarelli, it quickly became a local favorite for its authentic Italian cuisine and warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was known for its extensive menu, which featured classic dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan, and a variety of specialty pizzas. Customers particularly enjoyed the risotto balls, fried calamari, and the open-face Italian burger, which were popular lunch items. The restaurant also offered a special bar menu, making it a versatile spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

Over the years, Mom's Kitchen earned a reputation for its delicious food and welcoming environment, attracting both locals and visitors alike. One of its most famous patrons was Jack Nicholson, who often praised the restaurant's food and would have food shipped to his home in California. The Aldarelli family maintained a commitment to quality and tradition, ensuring that each dish was prepared with the finest ingredients. Despite its success, the restaurant eventually closed in 2005, leaving behind fond memories for those who dined there. Many patrons remember it as a place where they could enjoy hearty Italian meals and feel like part of the family.

The build stays basic: a 100% cotton face over a 65/35 ring-spun cotton-poly body, a pouch pocket at the front, a self-fabric patch at the back, and a three-panel hood with matching flat drawstrings. The blank is sourced from Pakistan.
