The memory

Motels named after the moon were a whole genre along the Jersey shore corridor once, roadside places built for a night or a week, and Moon Motel in Howell was one of the plainer ones — no pool shaped like anything, just rooms and a sign that glowed at night.

The design lifts that sign, the lettering and the shape of it, straight onto the shirt. For anyone who ever pulled in there off the highway.

It's built from 4.2 oz combed, ring-spun cotton, pre-shrunk and side-seamed with taping through the shoulders so it keeps its shape wash after wash. The feel is soft and light with a bit of give — fitted, not tight. Nothing about it comes off a shelf pre-made; it's printed after you order, one shirt per order.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Shipping and returns

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your t-shirt is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
