Some names on the Asbury Park boardwalk never needed much explaining — The Fast Lane was one, gone now, remembered by whoever was around when it still had lights on. No plaque marks where it stood; the name just circulates among people who were there.

Heather colorways here run closer to 60% polyester, 40% cotton; the standard shell is 52% airlume combed, ring-spun cotton to 48% poly fleece, 6.5 oz/yd². Regular fit, side seams, nothing tubular about the cut, built to move rather than restrict.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

What happened to the Fast Lane in Asbury Park?

The Fast Lane was a converted garage at 207 Fourth Avenue in Asbury Park. It opened in 1974 as Rocky's Warehouse Saloon, became the Fast Lane in 1978 and ran rock shows through the early 1980s, reopening a few times after. The building was torn down in July 2013 as part of the waterfront redevelopment.
