For decades, Dave & Evelyn’s Seafood Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge served as a cornerstone of Belmar’s year-round dining scene. Founded by Dave Sanderson and Evelyn Longstreet, the restaurant was located on F Street (Route 71) and became a beloved local institution—known for its honest seafood, friendly atmosphere, and iconic signage. Whether it was shrimp cocktail at the bar or soft-shell crabs at a back booth, the place was packed with memories for Shore families and vacationers alike. Though the doors closed for good in the early ’90s, the legacy of Dave & Evelyn’s still lingers like the scent of sea air on a warm summer night. This t-shirt features the original logo from the restaurant—faithfully restored and brought back for anyone who remembers the real Belmar.
