The memory
Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, directly across from the pier. There had been a bar on that corner since the 1940s — Huhn's Red Top Bar & Lunch, then the Dolphin Inn, then the Watering Hole — but in 1976 it became the Blue Dolphin Pub, and that is the name people remember. Grill on one side, package goods on the other. It ran under that name until 1992, when the place changed hands and became something else entirely. The pier across the street didn't make it either.

The sign is reproduced the way it would look on a shirt that had been through fifteen summers down the shore: navy ink cracked and sun-worn, with the white knocked out so the shirt itself becomes the field behind the letters.
Printed to order on a Gildan 64000 softstyle tee — 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²), quarter-turned so there is no crease down the center, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double stitching at the neckline and sleeves. Sport Grey is a 90/10 cotton-polyester blend. The chest graphic runs 11 inches wide, set about two inches below the collar.
The graphic is printed direct to garment, one shirt at a time, after you order it.
Shipping and returns
Printed to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your shirt is printed after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Expect a few days of production before it ships, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
