Open from 1976 to 1979, Giulio’s South was a short-lived but legendary Asbury Park rock club owned by brothers Frank and Giulio Rubinetti. Located at 1101 Ocean Avenue, the venue was a gritty cornerstone of the city’s live music scene—hosting acts like The Ramones and The Good Rats while the rest of the boardwalk crumbled. After its closure, the building briefly became Park Place before a fire in 1981 torched it to the ground. This shirt pays tribute to one of Asbury’s loudest ghosts.
