Before the Shore was overrun with overpriced cocktails and curated playlists, there was Jimmy Byrne's Sea Girt Inn—a sprawling, barn-like palace of pure, unfiltered Jersey Shore magic. From 1965 to 1986, it was the place where the floor literally bounced under the weight of a thousand dancing feet, and the nights echoed with the sounds of live bands, laughter, and the clinking of countless glasses.

Fabric and print

Owned by the charismatic Jimmy Byrne, a Bayonne native and gifted musician, the Inn wasn't just a bar—it was a cultural phenomenon. With 11 bars, multiple stages, and a capacity to host over 1,200 patrons, it was a haven for those seeking good music, great company, and unforgettable memories.

Every night was a celebration, but Wednesdays were special—family nights featuring the entire Byrne clan. Jimmy and his brother Bobby would take turns belting out popular tunes and Irish anthems, while their father, Jimmy Sr., enchanted the crowd with his fiddle, and Frances Byrne dazzled with her step dancing. The energy was electric, the camaraderie palpable, and the memories indelible.

This coaster is a tribute to that golden era, a small nod to the nights when the Sea Girt Inn was the heartbeat of the Shore.

It's built from hardboard MDF with a cork backing and a high-gloss top coat, sized at 3.74 inches square — small enough for a bar top, tough enough to be both waterproof and heat-resistant, no coaster stack required.
