Owned by the charismatic Jimmy Byrne, a Bayonne native and gifted musician, the Inn wasn't just a bar—it was a cultural phenomenon. With 11 bars, multiple stages, and a capacity to host over 1,200 patrons, it was a haven for those seeking good music, great company, and unforgettable memories.

Every night was a celebration, but Wednesdays were special—family nights featuring the entire Byrne clan. Jimmy and his brother Bobby would take turns belting out popular tunes and Irish anthems, while their father, Jimmy Sr., enchanted the crowd with his fiddle, and Frances Byrne dazzled with her step dancing. The energy was electric, the camaraderie palpable, and the memories indelible.

This cap is a tribute to that golden era — a nod to the nights when the Sea Girt Inn was the heartbeat of the Shore.

It's a 6-panel, unstructured low-profile cap in 100% cotton twill, pre-washed for a worn-in, vintage look. A black sweatband and six sewn eyelets line the inside, an antique-brass snap buckle sits in back, and the design is embroidered rather than printed on.
