Ripe tomatoes have a smell you can pick out from across a sidewalk, and Marrucca's stand in Asbury Park usually had that smell going before you even saw the crates. It ran on trust more than signage — you took what the guy handed you because he'd been picking produce for the neighborhood for years.

This shirt reproduces the stand's lettering, the sign-painted kind rather than anything designed on a computer. It's for anyone who still can't buy a peach at a chain store without comparing it.

It's soft in the way a shirt gets after a dozen washes, except this one starts that way — 100% combed, ring-spun cotton at 4.2 ounces, pre-shrunk, with taped shoulder seams and a side-seamed body instead of a tube. Heather shades bring in a touch of polyester. Printed to order, one shirt at a time.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your t-shirt is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
