The memory

Opened in 1921 as a vaudeville house, the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey, evolved into a legendary rock venue under promoter John Scher in the 1970s. With a seating capacity of 3,200, it hosted memorable performances by artists like The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and the Grateful Dead. Notably, the Grateful Dead's April 25, 1977, concert at the Capitol was released as a live album, capturing the venue's exceptional acoustics and intimate atmosphere. Despite its closure in 1989 and demolition in 1991, the Capitol Theatre's legacy endures through recordings and memories of unforgettable shows.

Fabric and print

Fabric: Cotton
Care: Machine washable

The blank here is a 50/50 cotton-poly crewneck at 8.0 oz/yd², pre-shrunk for a classic fit that won't shrink further in the wash. Air-jet spun yarn keeps the surface smooth and pill-resistant, while double-needle stitching at the collar, shoulders, cuffs and hem holds the shape through repeat wear.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Shipping and returns

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your sweatshirt is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
