The memory

Midway up the Long Branch Pier, which Pat Cicalese and Carmen Ricci bought in 1979, stood the Pier Pub. It started as a plain bar for locals and fishermen. Fran Marincola leased it, saw where the night was heading, and rebuilt it: smaller bars, a DJ booth and a dance floor, reopened in late spring 1982 as Pier Pub & Café, 65 Ocean Avenue, 222-PIER. For five full summers it was the place to be on the Long Branch boardwalk. Then the fire of June 1987 started under the boards and destroyed it. The pub is gone. The sweatshirt weather isn't.

Fabric and print

Fabric: Cotton

This crewneck runs a 50/50 cotton-poly blend at 8.0 oz/yd², pre-shrunk to a classic fit with air-jet spun yarn that resists pilling. The rib-knit collar carries a touch of spandex, and double-needle stitching at the collar, shoulders, armholes, cuffs and hem keeps it from stretching out of shape after regular wear.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your sweatshirt is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
