The memory
Somewhere along the Asbury Park strip in the early 1950s, a little roadside motel put up a sign that looked beamed in from the space age, and the Orbit Motel never looked back. It was pure mid-century boardwalk kitsch, the kind of glowing neon that made a cheap motel room feel like a postcard. Long gone now, but that sign is exactly what you picture when someone says old Asbury Park.

This one's built on the shop's thicker blank, 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.5 oz, double-stitched at the neckline and sleeve hems. Quarter-turned construction means the front skips the usual center crease. Sport Grey runs 90% cotton, 10% polyester, and it prints only on order.
