What happened to Reggie's in Belmar?

Reggie's sat behind the Mayfair Hotel on Ocean Avenue in Belmar. Reginald Methner owned it and ran it for more than forty years: sticky floors, cheap beer, no dress code and regulars who never left. After Reggie died in 2011 the bar closed for good.
