The memory

When the T-Bird Cafe closed, the bands needed a new room. Scott Stamper and Adam Jon Weisberg gave them The Saint, a small club at 601 Main Street, on the corner of Monroe Avenue, that opened in November 1994 and held about 175 people. Through the lean years, when people said the Asbury music scene was finished, The Saint kept it going with local bands and touring acts on the way up, including Jewel, Ben Folds Five, Incubus, Cake and Kings of Leon, playing close enough to hand them a beer. The Asbury Music Awards moved in there in 1995. The Saint closed in November 2022, 28 years after it opened. If you ever saw a band there, this one's yours.

Fabric and print

Fabric: Cotton
Care: Machine washable

This is The Saint's own logo: big block letters with a music note standing in for the "i," halo and all, and Asbury Park, NJ underneath. It's printed in white with a worn-in, distressed finish, so it looks like a club shirt that has been through a few hundred washes.

This hoodie is 50% pre-shrunk cotton and 50% polyester at 8.0 oz/yd² (Heather Sport Dark Navy runs 40/60 the other way), spun with air-jet yarn for a softer feel and less pilling. It's got a double-lined hood with a matching drawstring, a front pouch pocket, and 1×1 rib-knit cuffs that hold their shape.

The graphic is printed direct to garment, one at a time, after you order it.

Made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your hoodie is made after you buy it and ships directly from the print facility, not from the Jersey Shore. Most orders ship within 3 business days, then normal transit time. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it is free on any 3 tees or any order over $99.
